Our commitment
We are building higherstate.app to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and to support keyboard navigation, screen readers, zoom, reflow, contrast, reduced motion, captions, transcripts, and accessible forms. We consider the site partially conformant today: the features listed below are in place, and we are still working through the standard. We have not yet completed a third-party audit, and we do not claim certification.
Implemented features
Skip link; semantic landmarks and headings; visible focus; 44px targets; native controls; form labels and error summaries; no color-only meaning; reduced motion support; exact text alternatives for charts and diagrams; captions and transcripts for any audio or video we publish. The site currently contains no audio or video. 320px reflow; and 200% text / 400% browser zoom support.
